Announcing ‘Watch This Wednesdays,’ Our New Video Series
Texas Well and Healthy is setting out to bring you a new series of videos, featuring real Texans’ health care stories and quick lessons about the Affordable Care Act. Mid-week every week for the next eight weeks, we’re going to be sharing at least one thing we really think you ought to see to get you motivated for action and informed about health care. And while we’re on the subject of what you’re viewing, read on for news about an action opportunity after tonight’s presidential debate.
To kick off Watch This Wednesday, we are bringing you two new videos this week. First up, is A Texas Health Care Story, the real-life account of a young, uninsured mother whose heart condition means good health care can make an enormous difference.
Watch tonight’s presidential debate and the debates on Oct. 11th and 16th from 8:00-9:30pm. (Next Thursday and the following Tuesday-seems the Presidential Commission on Debates didn’t get our memo about Wednesdays.) Right after the debates, join us (@TXWellHealthy) and other Americans all over the country to talk about what the candidates had to say, searching for and using the hashtag #Kids2012. Get general Twitter tips here, and remember to include #Kids2012 in your tweets tonight, so everyone gets your message!
Stay tuned to our campaign YouTube channel and this Texas Treatment blog for future videos and reminders to watch Wednesdays (and that special Thursday and Tuesday, too).
